This awesome vintage shirt is a souvenir from the Universal Studios theme park in Florida, and it pays tribute to the old Bates Motel set that was featured in the park from 1990 to 1995. The set was situated between the World Expo area of the park and what was once Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone.

While this shirt references the infamous Bates Motel from the iconic Alfred Hitchcock classic, Psycho, the graphic actually depicts the Bates Mansion, another set that was recreated and featured in the park. Both sets were used to film the 1990 sequel Psycho IV: The Beginning, which starred Anthony Perkins reprising his role as Norman Bates. The Motel was then also featured for several years, as a haunted house during Universal's famous Halloween Horror Nights.
