This sweet shirt celebrates the premiere of the comedy film Kingpin, which debuted on July 26th of 1996. This off-beat sports comedy starred Woody Harrelson as a one-handed former bowling champion, alongside an ensemble cast consisting of Randy Quaid, Vanessa Angel, and Bill Murray. This was the second movie to be directed by the Farrelly brothers, after the 90s cult comedy Dumb and Dumber. Originally the Farelly bros wanted to Jim Carrey to also appear in Kingpin, but the role they had envisioned him in, wound up going to Murray.

The majority of Murray's lines in the film were entirely ad-libbed, something that the Farelly brothers were thankful for, as they claimed that Murray's ad-libs were funnier than the actual script. While Kingpin wound up being a bit of a box office disappointment, the movie was able to make up for it with its home video sales.
