This amazing vintage punk tee is for the highly influential, Southern California punk band, Black Flag. This shirt celebrates their song "Police Story" off of their debut studio album Damaged, and it includes an image drawn by Raymond Pettibon, the brother of the band's founding guitarist, Greg Ginn, and the same artist responsible for Black Flag's iconic logo. Pettibon was actually the one to suggest the name Black Flag for the band, and he was responsible for most of their early artwork.

Damaged debuted in 1981 off of the independent label SST Records. While it was mostly ignored by critics upon its release, the album has since been named one of the most influential hardcore punk albums to ever be released. The album was released right at the beginning of Black Flag's Rollins Era. Henry Rollins was just a young fan and singer for the group State of Alert, when he met Black Flag. He asked the band to perform the song "Clocked In" and they responded by inviting him on stage to sing it. This encounter led to him getting an invitation to audition to become the band's new lead singer, and Rollins wound up becoming Black Flag's longest lasting vocalist.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is distressed with large holes and the hems of the sleeve cut off.
