This excellent tee celebrates the Philaldelphia Phillies' 1980 World Series Championship. This marked the Philadelphia team's first ever World Series victory, and they earned the title by defeating the Kansas City Royals. Phillies fans were so ecstatic over the win, that PA Governor Dick Thornburgh declared the following a day to be a statewide holiday, Philadelphia Phillies Day. In the end, the series was won during Game Six, when relief pitcher Tug McGraw managed to strike out Willie Wilson in the final inning.
