This colorful vintage tee is a keepsake from Hanauma Bay on the Hawaiian island of O'ahu. This extremely popular tourist destination is known for its snorkeling opportunities. An estimated 400 fish species are believed to live in the bay, like the longnose butterfly fish seen on this tee. Hanauma Bay also has a large population of Green sea turtles. When human activity in the bay began to negatively affect the environment, Hawaiian officials started limiting the amount of people allowed on the beach a day. They also made a rule requiring visitors to watch a video about the bay and marine conservation before entering the area.
