This vintage comics tee comes completely new in a sealed package, and the shirt pays tribute to The 'Nam. This Marvel series was first written and illustrated by Doug Murray and Michael Golden, and it detailed the events of the Vietnam War from the perspective of active-duty American soldiers. Murray conceived the concept for the series with the help of editor Larry Hama. Both men were Vietnam veterans themselves, and they wanted to create a realistic comic depiction of the war they experienced. To do this, they agreed that they wanted the series to play out in real time. Each issue took place one month after the events of the previous, and characters were never featured for more than twelve issues. This was to parallel the 364-day tour of duty required by actual Vietnam soldiers.
The 'Nam ran for seven years, effectively depicting the period in which the American military was directly involved in the war. During its run, it was praised for its sincere and realistic approach to the subject matter. The Vietnam veteran's group, the Bravo Organization even deemed it as the "best media portrayal of the Vietnam War".
Marked as a unisex adult Extra Large. This shirt comes in a sealed package, and because of this it is not eligible for returns and measurements cannot be provided. A small portion of the seal has been broken, see pics.
