This cool tee is a souvenir celebrating Hawaii and it features the Shaka hand symbol and the slogan "hang loose". Both the phrase and the hand sign have grown to become common greetings among surfers. The Shaka hand sign was supposedly developed by Hamana Kalili, a guard of the sugar train that used to work for the Kahuku Sugar Mill in Hawaii. Kalili was missing his three middle fingers on his right hand, and locals began to emulate his unique wave. When modern day surfing began spreading outside of the Islands, this hand gesture came along with it.

The tag says small but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra small.
