This awesome vintage band tee is for the group MDC, a punk band that was originally formed in Texas back in 1979. This shirt features a gnarly graphic that was used for the cover of their 7" EP record, Multi-Death Corporations released in 1983. The artwork which depicts a tank shaped like a skull rolling over a bloody landscape of flesh, was designed by Vince Rancid, a punk artist who drew other album art for the group as well as other bands like Dresden, Raw Power, and Dimentia 13.

MDC, whose name has stood for various phrases over the years, was among the fist wave of bands that helped to define the aggressive and influential genre of hardcore punk music. While their name has varied over the years, MDC's most notorious title has been Millions of Dead Cops, which perfectly clues you into their radical left-leaning politics.

Along with The Dicks and Big Boys, MDC was one of the first hardcore bands to emerge out of Texas in the early 80s, but by 1982 they had relocated to San Francisco, where they released their debut LP. The record was released off their own label, R Radical, although they got a little help with distribution from Alternative Tentacles, the label owned by Dead Kennedys' Jello Biafra. This debut release has since become a punk classic, and it immediately established exactly what MDC was all about, with jams that criticized capitalism, homophobia, and American culture. During this period they were also proudly involved with the Rock Against Reagan Tour, and even confronted Bad Brains lead singer H.R. after he reacted negatively to finding out about the sexuality of Big Boys' singer Randy Turner.
