This sweet heathered gray tee was made by the iconic athletic apparel and footwear company Nike, and it features the white Nike tag and the company's famous swoosh logo. Nike originated as Blue Ribbon Sports, but they later changed their name to match the Greek goddess of victory. This name change was introduced the same year that they adopted the swoosh logo, which was designed by Carolyn Davidson.

Back in 1971, Davidson was initially paid only $35 for her design, but as the company grew, its founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight agreed that they wanted to reward her for her integral contribution. Thus in 1983, they gifted the artist a diamond embedded ring and 500 shares of Nike stock. Nike flourished in the 80s, gaining popularity with its "Just Do It" campaign, and this slogan was enshrined in the Smithsonian as one of the top five ad slogans of the 20th century.
