This cool vintage muscle tee is for the California rock band, Pavement, and it says, "Pavement Powered" across the front. The group was conceived in the late 80s as a recording project, and for a while they avoided any press or live performances, all while growing a steady underground following. By 1992, they had grown into a full time band and they performed their first show at a New Jersey punk club, The Court Tavern. That same year, their first full length studio album was released commercially, titled Slanted and Enchanted. While the band was a hit within the indie rock scene, they never gained much commercial attention, aside from their 1994 single "Cut Your Hair", which was featured in both A Very Brady Sequel and an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There are repairs on the front and back, some holes near the collar, and the sleeves have been cut, see pics.
