This classic promo tee was made for Finish Line Engineering way back in the 1960s. It's held up great after all these years, preserving that old school magic for more to come. Features double sided print, cool graphics, and a lovely cotton feel.

Finish Line Engineering was a producer of boat parts and marine supply dating back to 1958, most notably their cavitation plates. They were based in Van Nuys, California right on Sepulveda Blvd. More importantly, though, Finish Line was a suppler of choice for this very niche community of hot rod boaters, speed boaters, ski draggers- all of which use V-drive power trains.

This class of boaters originated from a group of Southern Californians who had been training for WWII in the aircraft industry. Before they could enter combat, the war came to and end, leaving the men with lots of pent up energy that ultimately spilled over onto the water. They quenched their need for speed with v-drive speed boats that sported basic hulls with no lights, horns, or even transmissions- otherwise known as the KISS method, an acronym for "keep it simple, stupid".
