This shirt was made to celebrate the Spartans football team of Michigan State University in East Lansing. This NCAA Division I team played as a part of the Big Ten Conference, and this shirt was made in the 70s. During that decade, the team switched hands from head coach Duffy Daugherty, to Denny Stolz, and then to Darryl Rogers. In 1978, The Spartans managed to win the Big Ten Conference title, although a probation barred them from participating in any bowl games.
Fits like a modern unisex adult extra large. There is a repair near the collar and on the front, see pics.
