This sweet shirt celebrates the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team and their 1991 Stanley Cup Finals victory. During the 1990-1991 NHL season, the Penguins managed to clinch their first ever Stanley Cup Championship. The Penguins were pitted against the Minnesota North Stars, which meant that no matter the outcome, 1991 was destined to be the first time since 1983 that an American franchise took the cup. After winning four games to two, MVP of the Finals went to the Penguins captain, Mario Lemieux.
