This vintage band tee pays homage to rock n roll icon Bruce Springsteen during the 1970s- the earlier days of his career. During this decade, he released albums like Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle. The Boss enjoyed moderate success throughout the early seventies up until releasing Born to Run (1975) and Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978). These albums launched Springsteen into commercial success, with his most renown release debuting in 1984, Born in the USA.
Springsteen, grew up along the Jersey Shore where he played at local venues with the group Steel Mill. His musical talent and unique lyrical style helped him grow a steady following until he was signed to Columbia Records by Clive Davis in 1972. By this point in time, Springsteen was already performing with the group that would come to be known as the E Street Band. This backing band consisted of several other local musicians from around the Asbury Park area of New Jersey.
The Boss has a long list of career achievements spanning over five decades. Among his many achievements are 20 Grammys, an Academy Award, 2 Golden Globes, and a Special Tony Award.
