This sweet band tee is for a group known as The Moon Pie Daince Band. This southern rock group was formed in the early 70s, and while they never gained much mainstream attention, they did become a beloved part of the El Paso music scene in Texas. The band managed to release two studio albums, Enchanted Mesa and Flower In The Sand, the latter of which included the track "We Were Made to Be Lovers". This 1982 song was granted a music video produced by Charlie Steed, and it became the first video from El Paso to be nationally televised on MTV. Over the years, the band had the honor of opening for a number of notable artists, some of which included Ricky Skaggs, Jerry Lee Lewis, Patty Loveless, Emmy Lou Harris, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Kiss.
