This awesome raglan band tee is for the singer Bob Seger and his backing band the Silver Bullet Band, which he put together in 1973 from a collection of local Detroit-based musicians. This shirt is copyright 1980, which was the year that Seger put out his eleventh studio album Against the Wind, which earned him and the Silver Bullet Band the 1980 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
Against the Wind was a massive commercial success for the singer, becoming his first and only album to make it to the top of the Billboard 200. This era in time was essentially the commercial peak of Seger's career, and it was encapsulated in the 1981 live album Nine Tonight, which featured recordings of hits from his last three releases Against the Wind, Stranger in Town and Night Moves. The live album was then followed by the critically acclaimed hit The Distance, which included the popular single "Shame on the Moon". The song made it to the top of the Adult Contemporary chart and stayed at No. 2 on the Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
