This awesome vintage tee is for the rock band Bon Jovi and the front features a cool skull graphic with the words "Bon Jovi Forever". The shirt is meant to commemorate the group's Brotherhood Tour which lasted from 1988 into 1990. The Brotherhood Tour was designed to help promote the band's fourth studio album New Jersey, released by Mercury Records.
New Jersey was the follow up to the band's highly successful Slippery When Wet and it managed to peak at the number one spot on the Billboard 200, during only its second week after release. The album included five top ten hits such as "I'll Be There For You", "Bad Medicine", "Lay Your Hands On Me", "Living in Sin", and "Born to Be My Baby". The album was also released by the Soviet state-owned record label Melodiya, and it was the first American album to officially be release in the USSR.
Ironically despite this shirt's message of Bon Jovi Forever, after the tour concluded the band took a short break during which Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora both released solo albums. Bon Jovi was exhausted from recording and promoting Slippery When Wet and New Jersey back to back, but they recuperated, regrouped, and released their next album Keep the Faith in 1992.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is soft and thin with several holes and runs, see pics.
