This double-sided concert tee is reps the British glam metal band Bonham from their 1989 tour supporting their debut album The Disregard of Timekeeping. The graphic on the front is a parody of surrealist painter, Salvador Dali's famous masterpiece The Persistence of Memory, which is often recognized for its melting clock imagery.
Bonham was founded by drummer Jason Bonham who was the son of the famous John Bonham, known for being the drummer of the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin. The group saw a lot of success from The Disregard of Timekeeping, which topped the weekly airplay charts thanks to the popularity of the single "Wait For You".
Bonham toured extensively for two years following the album's release. However the impact of so much early success on the young band members caused a lot of internal friction within the group. They released their second album Mad Hatter in 1992, and that wound up being the last album to feature the original lineup of Jason Bonham, Daniel MacMaster, Ian Hatton, and John Smithson.
