This sweet vintage t-shirt is for the rock band Huey Lewis and the News and the double-sided tee commemorates their fourth studio album Fore!, which was released in 1986. The graphics on the shirt depict the album cover which showed the band photographed in front of a wall at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. Band members Bill Gibson, Mario Cipollina, and Sean Hopper all attended this school together.
The album featured a number of hit singles including "Stuck With You", Doing It All For My Baby", "Jacob's Ladder", and "I Know What I Like". One of the most famous songs off the album is "Hip to Be Square", which was featured in the film American Psycho. Christian Bale's character Patrick Bateman actually waxes poetic about the release saying its the group's "most accomplished album".
Fore! was released just a year after the group provided two songs for the soundtrack of the Robert Zemeckis film Back to the Future. The band's hit song "The Power of Love" was included in the movie and they then wrote "Back in Time" for the film as well. Lewis also got to make a cameo in the film, appearing as a faculty member during Marty McFly's audition for the battle of the bands. He's the one to interrupt the audition and say "I'm afraid you're just too darn loud".
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
