This awesome double-sided concert tee declares "I Was There" and refers to the Mad Not Mad Tour from the English pop ska band Madness. Mad Not Mad was the group's sixth studio album and it was the first official release on their own label Zarjazz, a sub label belonging to Virgin Records. Although the album reached the number 16 spot on the UK charts it remains their poorest-selling album. Despite this it is did feature three Top 40 singles "Yesterday's Men", "Uncle Sam", and "Sweetest Girl", which were all released with corresponding music videos.
Madness was formed in 1976 although they saw their most success during the early to mid 80s. During that period they were considered one of the most prominent bands of the 1980s two-tone ska revival. Some of their most popular songs include "One Step Beyond", "Baggy Trousers", "It Must Be Love", "House of Fun" and "Our House", which became their biggest US hit.
