Diamond's '83 Spring Tour kicked off in June at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Tickets had first gone on sale in March and sold out within two hours, so three more concerts were added, totaling seven shows with a total of 130,000 ticket sales- an all-time high sales record for the venue.

Neil Diamond is a prolific musician whose career has spanned decades. He has produced dozens of hit songs including "Longfellow Serenade", "I've Been This Way Before", and "If You Know What I Mean". Diamond won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2018.
