This awesome vintage rock t-shirt is for the legendary English rock band The Who celebrating their 1989 The Kid's Are Alright Tour. The tour was a reunion tour celebrating the band's 25th anniversary. The anniversary wasn't actually of the band's formation but rather the year when they were joined by their late drummer Keith Moon. The tour featured Simon Phillips on drums and Steve "Boltz" Bolten on guitar backing Pete Townsend, who had gained hearing problems over the years due to tinnitus.
The tour included three charity shows featuring the rock opera Tommy performed in its entirety for the first time since 1970. Special guests Elton John, Phil Collins, and Billy Idol were included in these performances. Shows during the tour often ran for three hours or more and set lists varied from point to point. Following the tour, the band was inducted into the rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There is a repair near the sleeve, see pics.
