This sweet vintage band tee is for the iconic nu metal group Korn. The shirt features an illustration drawn by comic book creator Todd McFarlene, who is arguably best known for this cult classic series Spawn. McFarlene designed the image for the single "Freak on a Leash" and his artwork was used for the song's cover art, music video, and for the cover of the album it debuted on, Follow the Leader. MacFarlene also served as the director to the "Freak on a Leash" music video, which was such a smash success, that it won three MTV Video Music Awards, and had to be retired from Total Request Live due to its insane popularity.
This was the peak of Korn's commercial success, as both Follow the Leader and its follow up, Issues, both debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Not only that, but Follow the Leader also became five times certified platinum by the RIAA, and featured another of Korn's most popular singles "Got the Life". Prior to the album's release, Korn hosted an online weekly TV show called KornTV which included guest appearances from celebs like Ron Jeremy, Limp Bizkit, and 311. They also launched a promotional concert tour, the Family Values Tour, which became an ongoing event thanks to the overwhelming fan response.
