This cool vintage concert shirt is for the English singer-songwriter Morrissey, best known for his tenure as the lead singer of the band The Smiths. This double-sided shirt is a keepsake from his Your Arsenal Tour, which was launched to promote his 1992 album of the same name. Your Arsenal was Morrissey's third studio album since starting his solo career in the late 80s. This was the singers first album with his new backing band that consisted of Alain Whyte, Boz Boorer, Gary Day, and Spencer Cobrin. It was both a critical and commercial success, reaching the No. 4 spot on the UK Album's Chart and earning Morrissey a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album.
The Your Arsenal Tour saw the singer decorating the stage with rotating backdrops that featured portraits of skinhead girls, singer and actress Diana Dors, Elvis Presley, and the leader of the Richardson crime gang, Charlie Richardson. One of the performances during the tour was recorded and later released as the live album Beethoven Was Deaf. The album included live versions of some of the most popular songs off Your Arsenal, which included "You're the One for Me, Fatty", "Certain People I Know", and "We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful".
