This amazing tee is to honor Animals by Pink Floyd. The English progressive rock band are one of the most influential of the genre. Pink Floyd was most active during the 70s, with 7 of their 15 studio albums released in the decade.
At the end of the 70s, Pink Floyd was made up of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Animals was released in 1977 after The Dark Side of the Moon in 1973 and Wish Your Were Here in 1975. Due to the enormous success of these earlier albums Pink Floyd did not need to promote Animals in 1977 at all, and they didn't. Without releasing one single from Animals, the band performed and promoted the album through their In the Flesh tour. Animals is often sited as the beginning of band conflict and ego battles that would eventually make Roger Waters leave the group.
One of the most memorable images associated with the band is the giant flying pig, originally a 40 foot helium filled balloon designed by Waters and built by Australian artist Jeffrey Shaw.
