This cool tee features a sweet caricature of the punk musician Tesco Vee. While working as an elementary school teacher in the early 80s, Tesco Vee made a name for himself by creating one of the premiere punk and hardcore zines, Touch and Go. Not long after its founding, Touch and Go expanded into its own independent record label that helped to shape the indie rock scene of the 80s and early 90s. While the label flourished, Tesco Vee made a move to Washington DC to focus on his band The Meatmen, and he has since remained an active member of the punk rock scene. This particular tee was made in the 2000s, and it features a drawing by Chris Shary, a prolific punk rock artist who has also created work for the Descendents, Less Thank Jake, and White Flag.
