This sweet double-sided tee commemorates an environmental art piece from the early 90s, titled The Umbrellas. This installation was created by the artistic duo of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, who were known for large scale, site-specific pieces such as this. The Umbrellas involved more than 3,000 beach umbrellas erected in both California and Japan. Yellow umbrellas were placed in California between the towns of Gorman and Grapevine, while blue umbrellas were dotted throughout Japan. Between the two sites, the unique installation managed to attract around three million visitors.
