This awesome t-shirt celebrates the 1984 Summer Olympics that were staged in Los Angeles, California. This particular tee highlights the boxing events that were staged at the Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles. LA84 was affected by boycott held by several Eastern Bloc countries, which was a response to the American-led boycott during the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.

This boycott had an effect on the Boxing events as countries like the Soviet Union, East Germany, Bulgaria, and Cuba, withdrew from the competition. Before the boycott was announced, Cuban boxer, Teofilo Stevenson had been hoping to earn his fourth gold medal. In the end, the US took home the majority of medals, with nine gold, one silver, and one bronze.
