This vintage 80s t-shirt comes from the Action for Nuclear Disarmament, abbreviated as A.N.D. The Cold War arms race created mass unrest among the American people, many of whom opposed the war and organized for disarmament. The largest gathering for disarmament, and the largest political demonstration in U.S. history, was held in Central Park in New York City 1982, where an estimated one million demonstrators came together. The back reads, "The future is in our hands."
