This sweet t-shirt is for a concert tour held in the mid 80s by Bill Joel to promote his album, The Bridge. This was Joel's tenth studio album, and it was the last one made with his longtime producer Phil Ramone. The album featured collaborations with Ray Charles and Steve Winwood, who had both been major influences on Joel. The two musicians were featured on the songs "Baby Grand" and "Getting Closer" respectively. Similar to past albums, The Bridge produced several top 40 hits, including "A Matter of Trust", "This is the Time", and "Modern Woman", the last of which was used for the soundtrack to the Danny DeVito and Bette Midler film, Ruthless People.

Shortly before releasing The Bridge, Joel put out a four-sided compilation album titled Greatest Hits Vol. 1 and 2. Initially Joel had been reluctant to release a greatest hits compilation, as he felt such records often signaled the end of an artist's career, but the 1985 release wound up becoming one of the best-selling albums in the United States, with over 11 million copies sold. Joel's career was also far from over as he continued recording into the early 2000s. One of Joel's next endeavors following The Bridge tour was taking on a voice acting role in Disney's Oliver & Company.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is a run going down the back, see pics.
