This amazing concert tee celebrates the band Foghat and their performance during the Chicago Jam at Comiskey Park. It's likely that this shirt was technically made for what was known as Chicago Jam II in 1979. This summer festival featured Foghat as its headliner, but also included performances by Rush, Roadmaster, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, and The Tubes.

Foghat was first formed in 1971, and during the summer of 1979, the group was touring in support of their latest release, Stone Blue. This gold-selling album saw the band team with producer, Eddie Kramer, who had previously worked with heavy hitters like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. The record reached number 25 on the Billboard 200 and it featured a notable cover of Robert Johnson's "Sweet Home Chicago". Around this time, the band was also working on their next album, Boogie Motel, which wound up being another gold-selling record.
