This amazing vintage jersey commemorates Michael Jordan's short lived Minor League Baseball career during which he played a Chicago White Sox affiliated team. This awesome Sox jersey features Jordan's name and number, 45, on the front and back.

When most folks think of Michael Jordan, they think of his prolific career in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls. During the first half of his professional basketball career, Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to win the national championship three years in a row. However, he abruptly retired at the height of his career in 1993. Jordan claimed that the recent murder of his father shaped this decision. Even more shocking, he signed a Minor League Baseball contract with the White Sox the following year. Jordan said that his father always dreamed his son would play baseball for the MLB and he wanted to honor his father's memory by pursuing his dream. The White Sox and the Bulls were owned by the same man, Jerry Reinsdorf, who continued to honor Jordan's basketball contract while he played in the minor leagues.

Jordan never actually played for the White Sox. He was contracted with the team but he played for the Birmingham Barons, a Double-A minor league team that was affiliated with the Sox. During his time on the Barons, Jordan played outfield and batted .202, hit three home runs, and stole 30 bases. He played one season with the Barons before returning to the NBA for the 1995 season. His original Bulls number, 23, was retired the previous year so he opted to keep his baseball number, 45. However, this change didn't last long and #23 was taken out of retirement when Jordan started wearing it again after only 22 games with #45.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Size 52, XXL or 2XL.
