This cool sweatshirt reps the Texas-based football team the Houston Oilers. The team originated as members of the American Football League prior to the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, and they were actually the first team to ever win an AFL Championship. This shirt was made in the 90s, which was the last decade in which the Oilers played in Houston. Owner Bud Adams had plans to relocate the team during the late 80s, and they finally came to fruition in 1997, when the Oilers were moved to Memphis. They were then relocated again to Nashville and renamed the Tennessee Titans, however Houston football fans have continued to keep the Oilers legacy alive.
