Despite the name, Giordano is a Hong Kong based apparel company, and the name was actually inspired by a New York City pizzeria. The company's founder, Jimmy Lai took the inspiration for the name during a trip business trip to Manhattan, and he chose it in the hopes that it would evoke the feel of an Italian fashion brand.
