This awesome sleeveless zip up sweatshirt comes from Foghat's 1986 Party Tour. After Dave Peverett left the band in 1984, a version of the band featuring Roger Earl, Craig MacGregor, and Erik Cartwright continued to tour into the 90s. The band wouldn't put out another album until 1994 with Return of the Boogie Men. They did continue to perform their classic hits though such as "Fool for the City", "Slow Ride" and their Willie Dixon cover "I Just Want to Make Love to You".
Their last album before Peverett's departure was Zig-Zag Walk, which incorporated a rockabilly influence to their blues rock sound. Peverett wrote several of the songs on the album including "That's What Love Can Do", "Three Wheel Cadillac", "Silent Treatment" and "Seven Day Weekend".
The sweatshirt features two front hand pockets and an image of the band printed onto the back underneath the Foghat logo.
This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s. The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession. As a result there may be some lingering basement odor. All items are authentic pieces of rock and roll history and in many cases are one-of-a-kind. Further authentication and chain-of-custody can be provided upon request.
