This cool sweatshirt was made in the 1970s for a sky diving organization called the North East Pennsylvania Ripcords. The NEPA Ripcords are synonymous with Above the Pocono's Skydivers, which was operated by Don and Darlene Kellner, a married couple who bonded over their love of skydiving. The pair was even married during freefall of a jump together.

The Kellners help to develop modern skydiving instruction and they shared their love of the sport with the world through Above the Poconos and NEPA Ripcords, which invited the brave of heart to take a crack at skydiving. Jumps were conducted at the Hazleton Municpal Airport near Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, where the business was headquartered. By the end of his life, Don Kellner had made 46,3555 skydives, which earned him the Guinness World Record for most sport parachute jumps.
