This sweet double-sided concert tee is for the Piano Man himself, Billy Joel, and it celebrates his tour for An Innocent Man. An Innocent Man was Joel's ninth studio album released in 1983. An Innocent Man was a concept album in which Joel sought to pay tribute to the 60s doo-wop and soul music that he grew up listening to. Joel wrote the album following the divorce of his first wife. It was the first time the singer had been single since his rise to fame, and the experience reminded him of his youth, which is where he drew his inspiration. The album wound up producing numerous top 40 hits, including "Uptown Girl", "The Longest Time", "Leave a Tender Moment", "Keeping the Faith", and "Tell Her About It", which reached number one.
Billy Joel is a New York born musician, whose career began back in the 1960s. Between 1971 and 1993, Joel released twelve studio albums, and he is one of the best-selling musical artists in the world. Joel was a high school drop out, who got his first solo record deal with Family Productions. He later attracted the attention of his longtime label, Columbia Records, with a live radio performance of "Captain Jack".
