This cheeky shirt is a remnant from the 1980 Amherst Massachusetts Water Shortage. During the region's worst drought since 1965, the University of Massachusetts, or UMass, was forced to cease operations for several days. Classes were put on hold from September 4th until the 8th, and on the morning of the 4th all students were asked to evacuate the campus. The few students who remained in the area turned to partying, and they had plenty to drink despite the lack of water, as liquor store sales rocketed. This shirt commemorates the events of those three days with a comical image of a toilet and the words "The Great UMass Dust Bowl Students Flushed Out of Dorms".
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are spots on the front and left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
