This cool tee is from the Wahiawa Pineapple Run of 1984. This run was sponsored by The Honolulu Advertiser, a daily newspaper that was printed from 1856 until 2010. 

Hawaiians have been enjoying the Wahiawa Pineapple Festival since the mid 20th century and it is likely that this run was a part of the festivities. For the first half of the 20th century the area around and including Wahiawa were the world largest pineapple producers.
