This cool vintage tee is a souvenir from the 1980 edition of the Michigan Jam rock concert. This summertime concert was held at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Detroit by a company called Lone Star Productions. The show included performances by The Almighty Strut, Bitter Sweet Alley, Heaven Seventeen, Toby Redd, and the headliner of the show, the English blues rock band, Savoy Brown.

During the early 80s, the Savoy Brown lineup consisted of Ralph Morman, Keith Boyce, Barry Paul, John Humphrey, and Kim Simmonds, and it was this iteration of the band that recorded the single "Run to Me", which brought newfound attention to the band. There's not a lot of recounts of the 1980 Michigan Jam event, but it wasn't the first time that the concert was held. A previous Michigan Jam had occurred in 1977, and that show was staged at the Martin Speedway with performances by Heart, Little River Band, Spirit, Nazareth, and Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a flaw in the print on the back of the shirt, see pics. This shirt includes a ticket from the concert it was purchased at.
