This cool vintage ringer reps for Proud Pegasus, better known as the United States Navy's Patrol Squadron 11. Established at Naval Air Station Quonset Point in 1952, this was the fourth squadron to be designated VP-11. The squadron was deployed on various assignments before they were disestablished in 1997. Some of these included operations during the Cuban Missile Crisis and Dominican Civil War, as well as anti-drug operations with Joint Task Force Four.
