This shirt features a hilarious mashup image that spoofs two very different pieces of pop culture, Buckwheat of The Little Rascals, and the crime drama series Miami Vice. This tee re-imagines the NBC series with Buckwheat replacing Philip Michael Thomas in the role of Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs", and posing next to James "Sonny" Crockett as portrayed by Don Johnson.

The character of Buckwheat was first featured in the Our Gang comedy series from the 1930s, in which he was played by a young Billie Thomas Jr. Buckwheat became relevant again in the 80s thanks to several Saturday Night Live sketches, in which Eddie Murphy impersonated the character. Meanwhile Miami Vice stood out among other 1980s crime shows because of the heavy inspiration it took from new wave culture. While the two properties have little in common with each other, they were both cultural forces of the 80s, making them ripe for parodies and mashups like this one.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a spot on the back of the left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
