This awesome raglan tee celebrates Bruce Springsteen and his backing band, the E Street Band. The shirt commemorates the River Tour, which was launched in 1980 to help promote the Boss' album of the same name. This tour, which ran until 1981, helped to establish Springsteen's reputation as a powerhouse performer. Setlists were often packed with around thirty songs, and some shows ran for up to four hours long. The River Tour also established what would eventually become concert traditions for the singer. This included pulling a female fan onstage to dance during one of his songs, and inviting the audience to sing the first verse and chorus of "Hungry Heart".
The front graphic of this tee showcases Springsteen with his band member and close friend, Clarence Clemons. Clemons was a prominent member of the E Street Band, who could rock a soulful saxophone. He had his own successful solo career and was also featured on Aretha Franklin's "Freeway of Love". The back of the tee names other members of the E Street Band: Roy Bittan, Danny Federici, Gary Tallent, Steve Van Zandt, and Max Weinberg.
The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium
