This awesome tee is for the adult animated comedy series South Park, which premiered on Comedy Central in 1997. This shirt shows off one of the four main characters, Kyle Broflovski, along with the catchphrase "kick ass". South Park originated as a short film made by two friends Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The duo used cutout animation to create a short titled The Spirit of Christmas, which wound up going viral on the internet. The overwhelmingly positive response inspired Parker and Stone to develop the short into a full series, and they booked a pitch meeting with Fox, a network that prided itself on its edgy media, such as Cops and The Simpsons. Disagreements arose when Fox took issue with Mr. Hankey, a character that would later become a beloved staple of South Park Christmas specials, and the duo took the series to Comedy Central instead.

The show was an instant success, earning consistently high ratings upon its debut. South Park centers around a small fictional Colorado mountain town,  and the four main characters are a group of crude, elementary age boys: Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman. The show made a splash with its dark surreal humor and excessive profanity. South Park was unlike any other animated series airing on TV at the time, and it quickly became a pop culture phenomenon.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There are light stains, see pics.
