This awesome distressed rock tee is for ZZ Top's fourth studio album Fandango! This album was unique in that half of the songs were recorded from live shows while the other half were brand new songs recorded for the album. Some of the songs included "Heard It on the X", "Tush" a live recording of "Thunderbird" and a live recording of a cover of "Jailhouse Rock". "Tush" wound up coming in at number 20 on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart in 1975.

The following year ZZ Top would launch their infamous Texas Tour to promote the album. The Texas Tour incorporated elaborate sets and costumes, such as rhinestone embellished suits and cowboys hats, to bring a campy Texan experience to concert goers.

In 2006 remastered bonus track versions of "Heard It on the X", "Tush" and "Jailhouse Rock" were released. These bonus tracks were recorded live at the Capitol Theater in New Jersey during a 1980 concert.

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. It is distressed with several flaws and holes. There is damage on the right sleeve, see pics.

This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s.  The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession.  As a result there may be some lingering basement odor. All items are authentic pieces of rock and roll history and in many cases are one-of-a-kind.  Further authentication and chain-of-custody can be provided upon request.
