This awesome tee is totally 70s with a sweet cartoon graphic of a speedboating rat under the caption "River Rat". This graphic takes inspiration from the talented artists of the Kustom Kulture community. Prior to the 70s, t-shirts were mainly considered underclothes and it wasn't until artists like Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and companies like Roach started printing unique images onto shirts, that graphic tees really began to take off. There was a large overlap between t-shirt artists and custom car enthusiasts, who were used to detailing automobiles and illustrating for hot rod magazines.
