This awesome vintage t-shirt commemorates the 1984 Summer Olympic Games that were held in Los Angeles, California. 140 different National Olympic Committees gathered for the games, which was a record at the time, and the United States managed to come away with the most gold medals, as well as the most medals overall. Despite these record breaking numbers, the games were also boycotted by fourteen Eastern Bloc countries. This was a direct response to the boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, which was spear-headed by the US.
Still the 1984 Olympics in LA managed to be one of the most financially successful modern Olympics to date. This was thanks to a combination of low construction costs and private corporate funding. The city of Los Angeles kept costs down by taking advantage of some of their already existing sports infrastructures like Dodger Stadium and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. This shirt is very soft and thin with small spots on the fronts and a repair on the back near the collar, see pics.
