This vintage tee is an original keepsake from a Moody Blues concert sometime in the eighties. It's very soft and thin with a ton of life left.
The Moody Blues have been making rock music since 1964, their style ranges from psychedelic, to progressive, and symphonic. Founding members were Mike Pinder, Graeme Edge, Ray Thomas, Denny Laine, and Clint Warwick.
During the 1980s, the band took showcased more synth-pop sounds with the release of The Other Side of Life featuring the wildly popular track "Your Wildest Dreams". It was a US Top 10 hit and earned a Billboard Video of the Year Award thanks to all the love and airplay it got on MTV. These feats also helped them gain younger fans. While their older fans weren't as impressed with the new sounds, they remained loyal.
The legacy of Moody Blues lives on through many forms, including the bands they've inspired like Yes, Deep Purple, Genesis, and Electric Light Orchestra. They are members of the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame. Although, they have yet to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the renown Rolling Stone magazine has vouched for them.
