This rad tee is for the band Paul McCartney and Wings in promotion of their 1976 tour, Wings Over the World. Wings was started by McCartney, his wife Linda McCartney, and guitarist Denny Laine. After the McCartneys' marriage, Paul insisted that Linda be a part of all of his musical endeavors going forward, even though she didn't have any experience as a musician. This was so the two would never be apart due to touring. Wings went through several line-up changes, although the McCartneys and Laine were constants. The three achieved major commercial success with their third album, Band on the Run, in 1973.

The band's fourth studio album was released in '75 and it kickstarted their Wings Over the World tour. This ambitious, year long venture took Wings through Britain, mainland Europe, Australia, the United States, and Canada. They were supposed to tour through Japan but that was canceled by the country's authorities due to a prior marijuana arrest of Paul McCartney's.

This was the band's first time selling out stadiums and arenas and the production value was impressive. During the American leg of the tour, the band needed five 32-ton trucks to transport all of their equipment. After the first legs of the tour but before the American leg, Wings released their fifth studio album, Wings at the Speed of Sound. This drummed up even more excitement for their shows, especially in the US, where an estimated 600,000+ fans attended the 31 shows. The band played many songs off of their new album during the North America leg. They also played a lot of McCartney's Beatles songs like "Lady Madonna" and "Yesterday."

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. Repairs on right shoulder if wearing, see pics.
