This sweet shirt is from a 1980 concert tour for the Charlie Daniels Band. The tour was launched in support of the group's album, Full Moon, which featured the hit singles "In America" and "The Legend of Wooley Swamp". While this was Charlie Daniels' eleventh studio release, it was only the eighth to feature his eponymous backing band. The record just barely missed the top ten of the Billboard 200, peaking instead at the number eleven spot, and it was dedicated to the memory of their friend Tommy Caldwell, the former bassist of the Marshall Tucker Band, who had died earlier that year.

Charlie Daniels is known for his long and prosperous career which dates all the way back to the late 1950s. He is considered a pioneer of the Southern rock genre, and he's often best remembered for his number one hit, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".
